The past couple of weeks have been fairly eventful.  My Grandpa George passed away on June 4th and we drove to Iowa Tuesday and Wednesday for the visitation and funeral.  He had suffered a stroke a week before our wedding, but we were able to visit him in the hospital after the wedding reception.  It was good to see my family and remember the fun times we had with my Grandpa, but he will be missed greatly.

After returning last week I finally saw my first client at the clinic!  I am doing co-therapy with a guy in my program who is also one of my really good friends here.  We are seeing a couple.  I was really nervous for my very first session, but it went pretty well and I'm excited to continue seeing them!

Jon has been enjoying his "vacation".  He's been working on our media PC, which is a computer with all of our movies and TV shows stored on it.  It's been a long process of putting all of our movies and shows on (we have over 300), but we've been able to use it and it's very convenient!  He also found out that a GIS project he did at Central this past Spring is going to be written up into a paper by his advisor and will be published and presented at a conference in Turkey this summer!

It has been extremely hot and humid here lately.  We have been in the 90's and 100's almost everyday.  It cooled down a bit this weekend, but this week is going to be hot again! We were able to buy a small Weber gas grill with our Target giftcards from the wedding and we have been taking advantage of the "nice" weather and grilling out quite a bit.  It's been nice not having to heat up our apartment with the stove!
