Wow, February is flying by!

Everything is pretty much the same here, although this week some big things have been happening for Rachel. I will start seeing couples for Premarital Counseling at the Catholic Student Center here in Manhattan.  I wasn't getting enough hours at the Family Center at school, so I decided to start seeing clients outside of our Center.  I've always wanted to do Premarital Counseling, and I'm excited to start!  I already have four cases that I will start seeing in the coming weeks.

I also found out yesterday that I will have the opportunity to present at a national conference in July!  I am part of a research team at school that has been working on a paper, "The Impact of Cyclicality on Cohabiting and Married Relationships", and we submitted an abstract to the International Association of Relationship Research (IARR) national conference in Chicago.  We found out yesterday that our abstract was accepted for a poster presentation, so we will be attending the conference July 12-16.

Last night we went to Lidia's Restaurant in Kansas City.  Rachel has been watching Lidia's cooking show on PBS for years, and we were definitely excited to try her restaurant.  The food was amazing, so if anyone is going to Kansas City, we would definitely recommend it!
